4, 3, 2, 1... Santé !

Multimedia Director - Permanent Museum Exhibition

At the Health Museum Armand Frappier, the multimedia design invites kids and adults alike to discover and learn in an amusing way about their own health from molecular, individual, social, and environmental perspectives. A science museum transformed into a fun and interactive learning playground.

 

We designed interactive silhouettes where visitors learn about our different systems through backlighting, sound design, and animation. For example:

  • Under a starry sky, we find a couple: with the push of a button, their reproductive systems activates and works all the way to the moment a baby is born.

  • A detection system captures the pulse of visitors and triggers a heart animation corresponding to the visitors’ pulse.

  • A young dancer’s nervous system is constantly awakened through lighting paths that can be triggered.

 

We also created an interactive wall where visitors are called to take action to create positive impact for personal health and that of the planet.

 

In collaboration with the museum’s scientists, we scripted and produced funny and dynamic animations that explained the complex human body’s systems of defense and attack.

 

The Idle Mode of the interactive installations played a crucial part in the exhibit design and storytelling. Through original music compositions, and dynamic backlighting, as visitors walk into the exhibit, the universe of 4, 3, 2, 1… Santé ! feels alive.
